The stories we tell shape our world and define our times.  Whether it's a tale of adventure across the sands of the Arabian desert, an investigative reporter piece from Capitol Hill or a goodnight story to our children, a well-told story is indelible and timeless. Writing, producing and composing: three fields with much in common; namely, the story.  For over 30 years I've been involved in various aspects of all three. I love the discipline and precision of the written word, the broad scope of film and the emotional, ethereal quality of the musical form. Below are just some of the credits of my career.  They represent work of which I'm extremely proud.  But for me, it's just a beginning.

FILM

IMAX Film Systems, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
I’ve recorded audio in the studio and the field since 1984 for dozens of large-screen format IMAX films.  Locations range from the mountains of China and the jungles of South America, to the Ginza District in Tokyo, to the deck of the Titanic on the floor of the Atlantic Ocean.  IMAX films include “Blue Planet,” “The Dream is Alive,” “Titanica," “Grand Canyon”, “Michael Jordan to the Max” and “Mission to Mir.”

Since 1991, I've been training NASA's astronaut crews in the use of IMAX recording equipment for use on board the Space Shuttle and International Space Station.  In the Spring of 1998, I designed an audio recording system for the I.S.S., which is now on board the orbiting space station.
(1984-present)

(1984-91)
